Product Description

Product Description

Seeding Rock Wool CubesOur exquisite rock wool substrate is perfect for greenhouse farming,
floriculture, herbal medicine cultivation, vertical greening,
planting walls, and home gardening, among other applications.
Rock Wool Cubes are designed for effortless seed starting and cuttings, ensuring even root development throughout the cube. They can seamlessly fit into the holes of any standard rock wool blocks and are compatible with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fibre mixes, and most growing mediums.
Rock wool is a superior mineral wool made from molten basalt and limestone, spun into fibers, and compressed into cubes, blocks, or slabs, offering unparalleled quality and performance.
Always handle rock wool with care by wearing gloves and a mask. Rock wool fibers can cause skin irritation and may irritate the lungs if inhaled.
1. Avoid squeezing the Rock Wool, especially when it is wet.
2. Always pre-condition Rock Wool in pH 5.5 water to dissolve lime before use.
3. Pre-soak the Rock Wool for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on its size.
4. Only water when there is light-never water in the dark.
5. Maintain an optimal room temperature of 18.5°C to 28°C for most species. Temperatures above 26.7°C within the growing media can deplete oxygen levels and encourage root disease.
6. Under low light conditions, use more water with fewer cycles, and vice versa.
7. Do NOT keep Rock Wool overly wet. Excessive algae growth is a sign of overwatering. Minimize watering while the plant is young, as excessive water prevents essential root setting, crucial for healthy plant growth.
Features: 1. High water retention capacity, while also holding sufficient air. It stores ample water, providing an advantage during power or equipment failures. 2. Available in various sizes and shapes for diverse hydroponic applications. 3. Rock Wool is durable and resistant to degradation. 4. Insect-free. 5. Its physical structure inhibits root inspection.
