Seeding Rock Wool CubesRock wool substrate is perfectly suited for greenhouse farming,
floriculture, herbal medicine cultivation, three-dimensional greening,
planting walls, and home gardening, among other applications.
Rock wool Cubes facilitate easy seed and cutting propagation, ensuring even root development throughout the entire cube. They fit seamlessly into any standard rock wool blocks, and can also be used with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fiber mixes, and most other growing media.
Rock wool is a mineral wool crafted from molten basalt and limestone, spun into fibers and compressed into cubes, blocks, or slabs.
When handling rock wool, always wear gloves and a mask to avoid skin and lung irritation caused by the fibers.
1. Avoid squeezing the Rock wool, especially when wet.
2. Pre-condition Rock wool in pH 5.5 water to dissolve lime before use.
3. Pre-soak Rock wool for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on its size.
4. Water only when there is light-never water in the dark.
5. Maintain an optimal room temperature of 18.5-28°C for most species. Temperatures exceeding 26.7°C reduce oxygen levels and may cause root diseases.
6. With low light, water more volume but with fewer cycles, and vice versa.
7. Do NOT keep Rock wool overly wet. Excessive algae growth is a sign of overwatering. Reduce watering for young plants to ensure proper root development.
Features: 1. Large water retention capacity while holding sufficient air, providing a safety net during power or equipment failures. 2. Available in various sizes and shapes for diverse hydroponic applications. 3. Durable and not prone to disintegration. 4. Insect free. 5. The physical structure prevents root inspection.
